Connecting the dots

I decided to write this blog on stuff. The article about stuff was very interesting and really got me thinking where our society is headed now-a-days. Part of me thinks it is a great idea to share our stuff with others so we can get the most use out of things, but part of me is still old school and just the thought of renting out my extra seats in my car sounds crazy. The simple facts of sharing and the consumption of stuff is if everyone can do their part, and really climb aboard with these new ideas, then there will be a better chance for more sustainability in the community. People won't have to buy new vehicles when theirs isn't working, which in turn will get more polluting vehicles off the road, and there are plenty of people out in the world today that have too much stuff in the first place. There are definitely a lot of ways to connect the dots in todays society and most of the ways interconnect anyways. Stuff is a great start and I do think there are going to be a lot more people getting on board with these sharing events and will start learning how to use their stuff, while still helping others out by lending out their stuff.
