\First off, I don't think I put the pictures of my insights on this page correctly, but I did learn how to screen print the pictures. Anyways, I am writing this final analysis about my Facebook page and all the interesting things I found out about the interactions on my sight. On the first picture I found out that 76% of the people that liked my sight and viewed my posts were men. Not too surprising seeing how this is a bass fishing sight. It was also pretty cool to see where those people were from. Most of them were from the U.S., but I did have a few from European countries which was pretty cool. Next picture was my posts, and I do have to admit I post more on my personal page so I neglected this page a little bit. Most of my post on my DSU fishing cite were before going to the national championships in California. Those posts got around a hundred views and were very insightful. I found when I posted something other than fishing pictures that there were a lot less views and likes on the post. Not too surprising because most people like to see those pictures of some nice bass. I did have a slip of posts during November simply because there's no fishing going on, as the next picture indicates. There's also not a lot of fishing going on in December, but I did manage to get a few posts on and wish people happy holidays and good new year fishing excursions.
I want to end with saying that I have only been a Facebook member for eight months and all this social media stuff is really new to me. I somehow have 300 friends on my personal Facebook page, and was really happy when the fishing page went over a 100 friends. I know that DSU fishing could have a very prosperous future, but I feel that all the heartache and struggles my partner and I have had to deal with from the school will stifle any desires from future students. My partner and I have one more year in school, so we are going to keep this page and our efforts for future success at a positive level of thinking and hopefully there will be someone with just as much passion for fishing that will have the desire to carry on our legacy.
Thank you professor Young for really helping open my eyes to social media, and I know I will use the knowledge from this class throughout my careers and my life. (Unlike math) Thanks
